Because of heavy headwinds we had to return on our steps!
Later the wind turned and with a lot of effort we reached Deseado.

That is the name of my sailingboat which I purchased in june 2008. She is a Grey-One 38 built in 1985.
Dimensions 11.85 m x 3,42 m x 2,11 m.
Design: Dick Zaal, aluminiumhull, superstructure and deck.
Round bilged hull, keel with trim rudder, displacement approx. 7,5 tons, ballast 2,4 tons (lead), vertical tiller.

- My passion is solosailing. I have been sailing now for approx. fifty years, starting with a sail on a kayak end ending up in multihulls. I just finished a three years solosailing trip in my catamaran "We Two Are One" around the atlantic. Recently I sold this catamaran and purchased the aluminium monohull "Greyhound". Right now (summer 2008) I am renovating this boat and preparing her for my next solosailing adventure.
