New second hand equipment

At last I found a second hand foldable moutainbike.
With difficulty she fits in my boat.
Now I can cross all over the islands I plan to visit!

To receive grib files, weather charts on my laptop with the SSB radio
I bought second hand an antennetuner and a pactor modem.
I expect a lot of difficulties before I get all this working and
am hoping to meet a sailor with know how on this subject.

To store laptops and other valuable gear I bought a big
second hand pelican case.
They claim to be very strong and nearly watertight.

Ben & Eleonora

In Brasil I met Ben & Eleonora with their little dog Kiko.
We have spent some time at the beautifull island Itaparica and in Salvador de Bahia.

This was their catamaran "Ocean Link", type Flicka, designed by Richard Woods.
They bought this boat in the USA and sailed her to Brasil by way of the Cabo Verdes islands!
Afterwards they sailed to Suriname, the carribean and delivered the boat to a buyer in France.
Now they live on this ship in one of the most beautifull canals of Amsterdam.
They toured in this winter trough Holland with this motorship.
I had a very pleasant reunion and dinner with them.

Antifouling

The first layer of antifouling is applied despite of the cold weather.
She looks a lot better already.

Sailing and biking

It is amazing how many sailors love motorbiking.
Is it because the feeling of the wind and the sense of freedom?
Here a photo of my offroad BMW 650GS. Already nine years of age

The interior of the Greyhound

Here are some photo's to give you an impression of the part of the boat in which I live.
Later I will publish some photo's of the other compartments.
