The way they support boats here !!!

Work on the boat

Piet is repairing the watertap

A new layer of antifouling

Stocking up for four months

We bought a car load of supplies.
It was quite a job to get them aboard and stow them away.

On the river

Today 8 december is a day off for everybody.
Because of the beautifull weather many people go to the river Tigre, which is a side arm of the big river Rio Plata.

With the dinghy we made a nice trip in the surroundings.

Job on the hard

Because there are no docks in the harbour all the boats are tied with ropes to the bottom.
When you want to leave your boat you have to call the Yacht Club tender.
They operate very efficient 24 hours each day.
Here is a photo of the mooring dock:

Buenos Aires

On wednesday 2 december 2009 I arrived in Buenos Aires after a delayed flight with Alitalia.
At the airport I met my friend Piet Bos and together we drove with a taxi to San Fernando and the yacht club: Club de Veleros Barlovento.
There we found the boat "Job" in good condition.

It is a beautiful harbour here.
